Restylane

Restylane is safe and natural cosmetic dermal filler made of non-animal based hyaluronic acid. It restores fullness and volume to the skin to correct moderate and severe facial wrinkles and folds like the lines from your nose to your mouth (nasolabial folds). I also use Restylane to plump up lips and soften lines around the mouth area. Restylane is injected by a fine needle resulting in minimal discomfort. It is performed in the office and normally takes about 15 to 30 minutes depending on how many areas are treated. Patients may have some redness or swelling after treatment, but may return to work immediately. Restylane normally lasts about six months.

Botox

Very low doses of Botox cosmetic botulinum toxin is administered in a simple non-surgical procedure by a few tiny injections directly into the muscles that cause the lines (that I call the elevens) between the brows. This softens the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines and restricts movement of the muscles for frown lines, forehead lines and crow’s feet. I administer the injections personally and discomfort is minimal and very brief. Patients can have this done in the office in about 10 to 15 minutes and resume normal activities immediately. Results can be seen within a few days after treatment and can last up to four months.

Perlane

Perlane is a product in the family of Restylane. It is natural cosmetic dermal filler made of non-animal based hyaluronic acid. The difference is in the gel particle size. Perlane particles are larger and designed for deeper injection than Restylane. I will advise you which product is right for you after evaluation of your skin. It is used to replace lost volume and restore youthful contours to the skin to soften moderate to severe facial wrinkles and nasolabial folds. Perlane is injected by a fine needle resulting in minimal discomfort performed in the office and normally takes about 15 to 30 minutes depending upon areas to be treated. Patients may have some redness or swelling after treatment, but may return to work immediately. Perlane normally lasts about six months.

Juvederm

Juvederm is injectable smooth gel filler made of hyaluronic acid (HA) which is a natural complex sugar. The appearance of wrinkles and facial folds can be smoothed by adding volume. This is performed in the office by small injections. The procedure is quick with minimal discomfort and takes about 15 to 30 minutes with immediate results. Juvederm usually lasts about six months. There is no downtime with this treatment, but bruising or mild swelling can occur at the injection site.
